An Interesting post Lawrie. May be I’m mistaken but I conceived Blipfoto (conceptually) as ephemeral (As you say you have kept copies which can act as an archive) . Are the comments and interaction any more than the “water-colour conversations” we might participate in, is the digital literacy posting conversations in this way ? Accepting, indeed embracing the ephemeral nature of conversation. Perhaps we have in the world of big, little and local data been conditioned in to believing everything is and *should* be permanent . I like the ephemeral and I miss it. Just a thought !
