Pot Drop Summer 2023
It's been a really busy summer for me at work, so opportunities to go to pot have been few and far between. But I have managed a few, and I am still experimenting with 3D printed molds! I'm sure Kieth would be unimpressed!
Starting with some big pieces, I had three themes in mind. Black Country and Industry, the Dudley Bug, and I also wanted to create a piece for a friend in the US who is running a gofund me for a college student who nearly ended up homeless.
One of these first two pieces, which will also be one of the biggest pieces I've made, will be for that fundraiser (*Prays to the kiln gods at this point*)
And of course this one developed a light crack on firing #sigh (now repaired and refiring)
These are little more conventional but they are brand new glazes so I am excited to see what they come out like.
And these are the 3D printed "push" molds - still experimental but a I'm making some progress.
Oh and Finally, as always, I've been working on Christmas Dex.
